A Not exactly. Space for turning wheelchairs is a requirement for habitable rooms but in other rooms such as the bathroom, or kitchen, adequate circulation space for wheelchair users should be provided. Most wheelchair users do not turn their chairs in a perfect circle but use an ellipse. Where there is a requirement for wheelchair turning space, the provision is a 1500mm circle or a 1700 x 1400mm ellipse.
