Criterion 7

There should be space for turning a wheelchair in dining areas and living rooms and adequate circulation space for wheelchairs elsewhere.

Specification and dimensions which meet the Lifetime Home standards**

A turning circle of 1500mm diameter or a1700mmx1400mm ellipse is required [in dining areas and living rooms].

Part M does not state the requirement for a turning circle or ellipse in dining areas and living rooms.
