16 Design Criteria (for Code purposes)
This version of the Lifetime Homes Standard should be used for housing schemes proceeding within the Code for Sustainable Homes (CSH).
This is because the technical guidance within the CHS has yet to be updated to reflect the revisions to the Lifetime Homes Standard.
Any scheme proceeding independently of the Code for Sustainable Homes and submitted for planning approval after 5 July 2010 should incorporate the Revised Lifetime Homes Standard.
